The Schenectady Home Furnishings Program provides household furnishings in excellent usable condition to people and families in need residing in Schenectady County. At no charge to the donor or the recipient, we pick up and deliver donated furniture. Furnishings are obtained from donations collected by churches, individuals and groups, and estates.
The Schenectady Home Furnishings Program was founded in 1968 by members of Church Women United and continues its unique mission to date.
The Schenectady Home Furnishings Program

- works with clergy and more than 25 human service agencies
- provides basic home furnishings to individuals and families in transition resulting from
